Dr Sanjay Mukhedkar is a Medical Oncologist at St John of God (Murdoch). He was born and raised in Hyderabad, India. He graduated from Osmania Medical College, post graduated in General Surgery. Together with his wife, they migrated to New Zealand in 1995 then relocated to Manhattan, New York, where he completed an MD in Internal Medicine in Columbia University NY. He started Medical Oncology training in Waikato, New Zealand, and completed this at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sanjay has an interest in the treatment of lung cancer and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. A\/Prof Dr Daphne Tsoi is a local medical graduate who completed her medical oncology training in Western Australia. She then undertook a two-year Breast Cancer Clinical Research Fellowship at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre (Toronto, Canada), and obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

She continues her interest in cancer research and has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals. She was the inaugural director of the Murdoch Oncology Clinical Trials Unit, and is a principal investigator for a number of international trials.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

She holds an adjunct associate professor position with the School of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame, as well as the School of Health and Medical Sciences at Edith Cowan University. She has private practice at St John of God Subiaco and Murdoch hospitals. Besides breast cancer, her other interests include brain tumours and colorectal cancers.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A\/Prof. Dr Kynan Feeney, graduated from UWA with honours in 1998. He completed a Masters of Public Health and further research in this area prior to his training in Medical Oncology. His main interests include gastrointestinal, breast and melanoma cancers. He is the Head of Department of Oncology and Haematology at St John of God Hospital Murdoch and also serves on the Medical Advisory Committee. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr Feeney is a highly active member of the clinical trials unit where he is the Clinical lead for clinical trials spanning breast, melanoma, colorectal, lung, bladder, prostate, kidney, gastric, oesophageal and pancreas cancers.<\/span><\/p>

He currently has several clinical trials open, covering these tumour groups. He is also an adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Notre Dame University where he serves as mentor for final year medical students, and an adjunct Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University where he is involved in research looking at the role of exercise in treating certain types of cancer. Dr Raj Tota is a Medical Oncologist. Raj works from St John of God (Murdoch), ICON Rockingham and Genesis Care Mandurah. He graduated from India and then gained work experience in United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. He commenced his Oncology training in New Zealand and gained his fellowship after finishing his training in Perth in 2012. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He has a special interest in teaching and training the doctors of the present and future \u2013 is actively involved in the development of Royal College of Physicians online resources.
